- Read aloud every single day.
- Don’t get distracted by what someone else is doing.
- Don’t compare yourself to others. Don’t compare your kids to others.
- Get outside.
- Be nice.
- Take trips.
- Don’t try to control your environment by controlling your kids.
- Let your kids get dirty.
- Don’t box them in with labels.
- Remember that children are, indeed, wonderfully and fearfully made.
- It’s much more important to show love to my child than to finish the math book.
- Enjoy them.
I especially like Albert Einstein's quote:
Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it’ll spend its whole life believing that it is stupid.
